From the law? You aren’t even making any sense. The law says they don’t have the right to work in this country. If businesses aren’t sure if they are hiring illegals or not (which is bullshit because they know they are) they can use the eVerify program. If they don’t, they assume the risk. It’s business.

E Verify was never made available to all employers and the law states plainly what the required documents are that the prospective employee must file.

If they do so unless they are obvious frauds the employer cannot lawfully refuse employment simply because they aren’t sure the PE is actually legal to work in the US. If they do, they are subject to federal and state civil rights violations.

Regardless, shady employers are the magnet that draws in illegals. It’s pretty easy to spot an American of any skin color. If the folks they are hiring aren’t Americans then the business needs to be sure they are hiring someone eligible to work in the US. It’s not a tall order. Please bring your driver’s license, social security card, birth certificate, AND your US Passport when onboarding. If you don’t have those documents you won’t be able to onboard.

If you are eligible to work in the US, please provide your greencard and other immigration documentation.

The federal gov’t specifies what documents are required.

They also set the criteria by which employers can be nailed for discrimination.

If you’e going to hold employers accountable you have to change the law because right now stuck between a rock and a hard place.

I know the E-Verify program states what documents are acceptable because I have worked for a company that participated.

Outside of E-Verify the federal government does not dictate the hiring process for every company, if they do they are doing a terrible job at it because every company hires differently.

Form I-9 and E-Verify System for Employment Eligibility

And? The I-9 lists the required documents so of course it would be “The Core” of the E Verify process since without it you’d have nothing to verify.

Apparently some people don’t realize that the I-9 predates E Verify by a decade and that the whole purpose of E Verify was to expedite processing of the I-9 document verification process.

They apparently didn’t understand that under employment and civil rights laws that employers can be held liable under the anti discrimination laws for refusing to hire those who do provide proper documentation or for firing them without due process if the documents don’t shake out.

The truth is thous illegals are being courted recruited exploited and extorted by the members of the GOP and the new democratic socialist party . Every president in my memory has tried to do something about illegal aliens . Starting with President Truman and working up to President Trump . Most of thous Presidents at some point in their presidency has had a majority in the house and congress and could NOT get the job done .
