I was reading earlier that BLM is going to form their own political party out of all this. I think thatās a good idea. They will siphon votes away from the Democrats to the point that both they and the Dems will be irrelevant. Republicans will win every election going forward if this happensā¦as long as they stop their worthless and spineless apologizing and pandering.
It will also force those Democrats who are not a part of their party to oppose them and require them move more to the center/right (possibly).

This thread needs to be re-titled. These arenāt race riots. These are protests against police brutality and racism. Far right agitators, sponsored by Trump, are causing violence and destruction to take credibility away from a very credible and necessary movement for change.

I understand that there are feelings and emotions within the Black community that Iāll never fully understand because of my privilege, but it pains me that these protests are being coopted by those who seek to destroy and spread hate.

The burning, looting, and murder that has been at the center of these riots has been all about race. Particularly one race terrorizing and attacking another. How is the title inaccurate?
