This shit has gone way too far. Floyd’s death was a moment that could have to a large degree coalesced the nation in solidarity with the BLM movement.
Instead democrats saw that happening and decided to u se it to divide us to a degree we haven’t seen since 1968 and arguably since 1863.
Even people that largely agree with the movement are getting completely fed up with the violence and disruptions in their own lives due to such things as the flash mob protests blocking hiways and city streets.
Unfortunately for the dem’s now that the genie is out of the bottle they can’t put it back in. The rioters, looters, and terrorists have in their own minds a green light becuase of the support of “Democrat Leaders”, Mayors, and Governors.
They couldn’t stop it now if they tried, they’ve lost control. The only way to stop it now would be to deploy federal troops in the cities to quell the violence and stop the attacks on monuments and Federal Buildings.
Trump wont’ be doing that unless the governors come begging on their knees and rightfully so.
And they should get zero Federal funds to restore the damage.
Unfortunately it’s the taxpayers who will get stuck with the bill for all of this.
All of the federal property that’s been damaged will have to be paid for of course with Federal Dollars since we can’t sue the states for failing to protect Federal Property as they are under no obligation to do so.
