I buy Bounty Select-A-Size paper towels at Dollar General. Often the name brands are available at a discount when the store buys rejected items from the manufacturer’s quality control culling. These towels seem to be such.
Several times, I have found ONE roll in the package of EIGHT rolls that has a failure of sufficient bonding between the two layers of paper…and that usually affects only half of the sheets near one end of the roll.
I also buy dented cans of food stuffs at a discount…and occasionally find discounts on canned goods with some flaw in the label.
