🇺🇸The Official PRESIDENTIAL 2024 ELECTION THREAD 🇺🇸

Trump advisers say he remains opposed to participating in the August debate, and that he sees no reason to appear onstage against candidates who are polling far behind him. Beyond that, the former president, they say, remains upset with Fox News over what he regards as their unfair coverage of him.

“Why would I let these people take shots at me?” Trump asked, in an interview last month on Fox.

By skipping the debate, Trump advisers hope to rob what could be his opponents’ best opportunity to trip up the former president. It’s possible that Trump could hold an event that would compete for attention and steer viewers away from his rivals.

Trump is not the only candidate whose appearance on the debate stage is either unlikely or uncertain. Other candidates have said they will not sign the RNC’s loyalty pledge to support the eventual nominee, a prerequisite set by the committee to participate in the debate.

If there is no longer debates in presidential elections then the entire exercise leading up to voting is a useless exercise in Democracy that is dying on its own fruition despite Trump or any other candidates best efforts. Yes its come to this in the times we currently find ourselves in.

If no one hears what a candidate has to offer, less people are likely to vote. It makes cheating that much easier. The Left are masters of cheating. Too bad the Right doesn’t have a clue.

They have a clue and are part of the cheating as well. The two party system is easy to manipulate, just ask Liz Chaney, Pat Toomis, Jeff Flake, Mitt Romney, Susan Collins, Mitch McConnell, Lindsey Graham as mere examples of not representing the values that people elected them to do. The shell game continues!

It’s why I always thought the two party system such as what you have in America is too rigid without many meaningful choices to make a difference.Probably why voter turnout is met with such cynicism.

I can’t believe Pence is polling that high! What is crazier is DeSantis was within 2 points well within the margin of error behind Trump in January, to being down double digits in June.

DeSantis blew is wad too soon as some crude saying goes! :face_with_hand_over_mouth:

Anti-woke businessman Vivek Ramaswamy broke into double digits in the Republican primary race, the latest Echelon Insights survey found.

Similar to other national surveys, the poll finds former President Donald Trump with a strong lead in the primary race at 49 percent support. Florida Gov. Ron DeSantis falls 33 points behind with 16 percent support. Ramaswamy comes in a close third place at ten percent support, just six points behind DeSantis, making him the only other candidate to break into double-digit territory.

No other candidate comes close to double digits, as former Vice President Mike Pence and former South Carolina Gov. Nikki Haley tie with five percent support. South Carolina Sen. Tim Scott sees four percent support, followed by former New Jersey Gov. Chris Christie with two percent and North Dakota Gov. Doug Burgum and Miami Mayor Francis Suarez, both of whom garner one percent support.

It appears Ramaswamy comes in third place in battleground states as well. Trump leads in battleground states with a majority of support, 56 percent, followed by DeSantis with 22 percent support and Ramaswamy with seven percent.

Why some Democrats are rooting for Trump to be the 2024 GOP nominee over DeSantis

‘The chances of winning and losing the presidential race are a two-sided coin,’ Mark Penn told Fox News Digital

By Aubrie Spady

Fox News contributors Kellyanne Conway and Mark Penn discuss polls for Donald Trump and Joe Biden 2024 presidential candidacies and how their ages would play a role.

In a turn of events following the midterms, several Democrats have said they hope former President Trump is the Republican nominee in 2024 over other candidates like Florida Gov. Ron DeSantis.

Pointing to Trump’s defeat in the 2020 election, Democrats suggested the Republican is less threatening than other potential 2024 contenders and hope he would win the primary with the idea he would be the easier candidate to defeat.

As the 2024 campaign season approaches, the GOP appears to be throwing support behind DeSantis for a presidential bid after he dominated his midterm race. The Florida governor has not yet said whether he will seek the position.

Throughout the 2022 midterm election cycle, Democrats boosted far-right, Trump-backed candidates in their primary elections with the idea that, if they won, they would be the easier candidates to beat in the general election. Democrats spent about $40 million in their efforts, raising the question whether the party will consider meddling in the GOP presidential primaries for Trump.

After former Democratic Vermont Gov. Howard Dean, Sen. Bernie Sanders, I-Vt., and former Democratic Virginia Gov. Terry McAuliffe all said a Trump primary win would aid Democrats in their 2024 presidential aspirations, Fox News Digital reached out to several political strategists who also assume that a Trump-Biden matchup is more predictable than the possibility of a Democrat facing off against a candidate like DeSantis.

“Look, we know from recent past experience that when President Biden runs against Donald Trump, Biden wins. We don’t know how Biden does against Ron DeSantis or any other Republican candidate. But if it’s Biden-Trump in 2024, we can feel pretty confident,” Christy Setzer, president and founder of New Heights Communications, told Fox News Digital.

“We also know that, not only did Trump-endorsed candidates fare poorly in the midterms, generally speaking, the more extreme, election-denying GOP candidates lost — which means there’s ample room in 2024 for Democrats to hug the middle and again win simply by being the party of sanity,” added Setzer, who was a national spokesperson for Dean’s presidential campaign.

On the other hand, Mark Penn, a Democratic pollster and Fox News contributor, believes that if Trump were elected as the nominee in a contest against Biden, he may have a chance at ousting the Democratic president.

Despite support up and down the ladder and most recently receiving a 2024 endorsement from business mogul Elon Musk, DeSantis has not officially announced he will run for president. (Octavio Jones)

“The chances of winning and losing the presidential race are a two-sided coin. Trump likely would beat Joe Biden but lose to another, younger Democratic nominee. And the Republicans would likely win with a new nominee against Joe Biden,” Penn argued.

If Biden decides not to seek re-election, there are several other rumored contenders for the Democratic nomination, including Vice President Kamala Harris, Secretary of Transportation Pete Buttigieg, and Gov. Gavin Newsom, D-Calif.

Reverend Jacques DeGraff, Fox News contributor and former national deputy campaign manager on former Democratic Sen. Bill Bradley’s 2000 presidential run, believes that Trump’s White House aspirations are dim.

“I believe that Donald Trump takes the GOP ticket down in flames if he captures the nomination. Not because Sen. Sanders and Gov. Dean say so, but because I believe his moment on center stage has passed,” DeGraff said in a comment to Fox News Digital.

“It is apparent to me that the Republican aspirants will gain more courage in attacking him the closer we get to primary season. Conversely, if Trump is not the nominee, there will be more Biden scrutiny. The Democrats will counter with a surprise legislative achievement that includes some GOP support,” he stated.

During a recent appearance on “The Briefing with Steve Scully,” former Gov. Dean revealed he is rooting for a Trump 2024 nomination.

“I am hoping for Trump’s nomination 'cause I think he’s the easiest candidate to beat,” Dean stated.

Sanders also recently agreed that a Trump 2024 nomination is “probably a good thing” for those who do not want to see a Republican in the White House “On the other hand, I got to say that as a politician who wants to see that no Republican is elected to the White House in 2024. From that perspective, his candidacy is probably a good thing,” the independent senator told The New York Times.

After the midterms, Jon Decker, Gray TV White House correspondent, asked former Virginia Gov. Terry McAuliffe his thoughts on Republicans in 2024.

“I think we would all like Donald Trump to run again. I mean, he literally helped hand us the great victories we had this weekend,” McAuliffe said, adding to the growing list of Democrats crossing their fingers for a Trump nomination.

Again the two party system at work with dastardly deeds behind the scenes.

Do you like how the media controls the narrative . Examples: How the media promoted Romney and Mc Cain knowing they would lose to Obama.
How Zuckenbrg dumped 400 million into battleground states to effect the outcome of the election.
Knowing the dislike for Trump the media promotes him and keeps him relevant and the country divided.
How can a Biden with an approval rating of 41% win? By people voting against a Trump. How the democrats promote pro Trump candidates knowing the public dislikes Trump. It’s how the right lost Control of the Senate and almost the house.

I think you are forgetting its by design led by no other Mitch McConnell. They purposely wanted to lose the Senate in order to undermine Trump’s agenda. See the COC and club for growth. They sold out America long before Trump came to town.

The ,ore I listen to this guy, the more I hope he wins the primary.

The fact he is younger with more energy appeals to younger voters too, but yeah he is transparent with the policies he supports including abolishing the ATF and FBI among other things that I support.
