The caricature is misleading.
This situation (where the US gets mixed up in the affairs of the world and vice versa) is exactly what “the founding fathers” of the USA wanted to avoid.
They were not interested in “democracy” either.

Where do you think the term “Democracy “ originated from? America was modelled by a Republic (Rome) not Athens.
The term Democracy in today’s narrative is so misused and overused that the meaning altogether has lost it’s currency.

America was never a Democracy. It always was… and still is a Constitutional Republic, but you know that.

Actually the Greek philosopher Plato said democracy is the lowest form of government. Democracy is mob rule.
If democracy is to be implemented fully, we’ll have to live under the woke morons like in California.
Problem is, many mistakenly believe the constitutional republic ought to become a democracy.
