Russia has nothing to do with this election. The stupid, uninformed people of the USA are the only players in this. Only the people that are supporting Trump have any conceivable knowledge of what is going on in the country. IMO… that is more fact than opinion.

I would argue it was post WW 2 with the Frankfurt institution infiltrating our universities. Prior to WW 2 you also had the Trotsky movement in America which gave momentum to the progressives in the 1930’s. Hollywood was always full of commies; does the “Red Scare” sound familiar?

I guess in some aspect you are correct. The progressives has a sordid history dating back to the 1800’s but did not put them in the same camp as the Trotskyites. Hmm interesting subject to ponder.
