Sports Trash Talking Thread

All I know, after reading about Jerry Jones and his trading for Trey Lance without informing Dak Prescot is sending a silent message to him and the head coach McCarthy. Prescot so far is playing like his hair is on fire, with purpose and Determination. The Eagles on the other hand still have one of the most talented rosters in the entire league, but having lost in the Superbowl which by all measures they fell flat in, that competitive fire hasn’t been seen so far. Yes I know its only 2 games, and its a long season, but I remain skeptical that they can repeat again especially when other teams are vastly improved such as San Fran, Dallas, Giants (Meh), Tampa Bay, Detroit, Seattle, etc. The AFC still has the usual suspects such as KC, CINCI, Buffalo, and the improved teams such as Miami, Baltimore, Jacksonville, Cleveland. After that the drop off is pretty significant.

BTW, please explain why the apple fritter Chicken Sandwich is now the craze in Philly? Sounds like a 1000 calorie food.

Yes, it is VERY DIFFICULT for any team to return to the Super Bowl because of free agency . There are FEW unsigned players available to help teams. As I have said , the Eagles are one of the teams that could have used the extra preseason game.NOT MAKING EXCUSES!!!
I dont live in Phila ( Reading) so I cant answer your question.

Anyone watch Penn State beat Iowa ???

HOW BOUT THEM COWBOYS !!!

Was watching the Ohio State Buckeyes beat Notre Dame. Great game!

It was no doubt a humbling loss, but Cardinals aren’t the pushovers that everyone expects them to be.

Glad to see the Buckeyes defeat the Irish. Penn States two biggest schedule challenges are Ohio State and Michigan.

Ohio State is undefeated right now. Michigan? Meh. Underwhelming.

Looks like Houston hit the jackpot with CJ Stroud. Most pass attempts without an interception, yards in his first 3 games for a rookie and he looks like the real deal at least in this game he did.

When does Hockey season start again?

Not a pretty win over Washington but its good the Eagles faced adversity before playing more powerful teams. Hats off to Coach Rivera and DC Del Rio.
All the CRYBABIES in the sports media should STFU about the Eagles Tush Push. They have one of the BEST O lines if not the best and probably the STRONGEST QB in the NFL How many other QBS SQUAT 600 lbs. The Eagles staff have found success with this and its up to the 31 other coaches to find a way to defend it and keep the NFL suits and JEALOUS ANTI EAGLE sports writers out it.
ENOUGH WIYH THE ANTI EAGLES BS.Would there be any of this BS if it was the BOYZ!!!

Even if the Eagles touts as being the best team in football they still haven’t won anything yet! Its good to be humble and hungry so we will see if their trash talking remains in the locker room and not on their opponents bulletin boards! Take care of your own business and everything else works itself out. Whether they get the respect they think they deserve matters not. Focus on yourself first and don’t worry what others say.

Staying humble and hungry is a competitors best motto and mindset for success!

Mindset for life in general is always a good teaching IMHO.
