That overtime sucked! I thought they were going to pull it off!
I guess the Jets pickup a LARGE part of his salary to count against the salary cap. Dont follow the Jets, but is Wilson reak bad or is it coaching, the offensive coordinator or players.
The Kings are the ultimate underdogs in this playoffs. The refs and the league are against them and the AVs and donât them winning. They want the Oilers and the Kraken to win! For marketing purposes of course. Fk the refs! Fk the NHL!
The Jests! Ha ha ha! Yeah, this was expected but this could be one of those deals where bringing in Rogers handsomely pays off. 1. The Jests go deep in the playoffs 2. Groom Wilson along the way while learning under Rogers. On the other hand this move can totally blow up in their faces much like when they signed Bret Farve. I guess we will have to see how this works out, but they paid a steep price to get Rogers.
With Rodgers salary cap hit, the coaches will be playing. Jets should have brought in a less costly FA QB and saved the money for the draft and players that will be released later.
This could work out well for the Jets. They have a better than average defense. They played well last year. They were lacking a real QB. Iâll wait to judge until 5 -6 games in.
They put all their chips in for Rogers and they still retain a 1st round draft pick out of the deal. Its a gamble but not the end of the world if it fails. Not sure what their salary cap is going to look like after this but I would imagine that is part of this deal.
I agree on all points. They just announced to the world that their Superbowl window is now with this move. Rogers is 39 and turns 40 this year, and after seeing him play the last couple of years especially last season, father time is catching up with him. If he can serve as a player at the position as a game manager, and if the GM fixes their offensive line, which last year they had a lot of injuries on that front including losing Becton then maybe their gamble pays off.
That division is going to be tough though, you still have the Bills and Dolphins who have gotten better, but forget the losers Cheatriots even though they brought in OâBrian as their new Offensive Coordinator, they wonât be beating the Bills or the Dolphins for the division. That division also has to play the NFC East this season as well making it a tough schedule for all the teams in that division. Its going to be an interesting season for sure.
Raiders drafting 7th this year?
Who are they drafting?
He still going strong
Wouldnât be surprised if the Eagles take B Robinson , RB Texas in 1st Rd a game changer.
Yeah, he is a generational talent, but will he last that long when the its time for the Eagles to pick?
Dam! I forgot about this guy. I am kind of rooting for the Wild, it just isnât right that Dallas has a hockey team!
There is talk of trading up to get Stroud. I think itâs a bad move. This whole draft needs to be defense. But, weâre talking about the Raiders⌠and Ziegler/McDumbass so, I expect another WTF! Draft⌠lol.
They should be focused on Levis, Stroud seems rather short. The entire draft feels underwhelming for QBâs LBâs and WRâs. Deep draft for TEâs and CBâs though. A lot really good prospects for those positions.
No QBâs in this draft worth a #1 IMO. The Raiders
need to fix the defense. The O line needs tweaked, but thatâs all⌠the defense is a must fix priority.
There are some Guards and Defensive Lineman in this draft as well, but not the start right away prospects. Mazzi Smith out Michigan, ER Byron Young, Tenn Jacquelin Roy LSU, are just a few. I am sure there many gems out there but not a day 1 out of the box starters but more like players who will need to develop. Drafting at 7 though, you have to hit on that pick! If they go QB, they would have to go Levis, his stock is climbing fast. Or Darnell Wright OT Tenn, or OâCyrus Torrence G out of Florida (too high to draft at 7)
If I were the Raiders and they werenât going to draft a QB then they should trade down to get more picks.
There are a few talented developemental QBs available in the later rounds. QB hungry teams may start a run of QBs at the start. Robinson could be available at #10 for the Eagles.
One more day and the draft is here! You certain that the Eagles are hell bent on drafting BJ Robinson?
To be honest after the first top 5 QBâs I have no idea who the rest are. Its not like someone is going to find a Tom Brady in the 6th round!
Watching the NFL Draft has become just as poplar as watching a playoff sporting event with lots of story lines and intrigue as the teams make their picks and players fall down the draft boards. He is a list of options on where to watch the draft.
