No one knows the future. We’re probably going to have an extremely turbulent one within the next decade or two, maybe even sooner than that.
Secession is the logical solution, but it would very complicated – how would the national debt be shared? Who pays whose pensions? But it could be done. Norway seceded peacefully from Sweden over a century ago. (But usually, national breakups are bloody.) We could run a joint aero-space defense – even now, NORAD is a joint project with Canada.
In the meantime, there are several things patriots should be doing:
(1) Concentrate into the ‘Red States’. If you’re living in a Red State, you should form a ‘welcoming committee’ to make it easier for Blue State patriots to move. “Come live where you’re not hated!” could be the slogan.
(2) Make sure we are as close to the military as we can be: every patriot under 36 who has not done his military service yet should join his State Defense Force or the National Guard. We should be volunteers for the USO. If Politically Correct indoctrination occurs, just go along with it, if necessary to remain inside.
(3) Prepare. There are a dozen websites with good advice on individual preparation; but that, by itself, is necessary but not sufficient. We have to be organized. A group of a hundred isolated individuals is very vulnerable to organized attack … a group of organized patriots is far more powerful.
