That is what it’s going to come down to! They can try to take our guns, but it will be a Long drawn out messy affair! If it reaches that point, the elite and their security forces are also fair game! Which is why they are adamant in taking the White House, because whoever has that also has the Military! Also, power of the purse still belongs to the people, so on the opposite side of the equation people legitimately can stop paying taxes if all hell broke loose, drying up their cash cow that funds the military!

The ACLU defends individual rights in all States.
They are probably not there, because the police have not yet performed any searches for the “illegal” magazines. But a heads up warning from them to State officials would certainly be in order.

What point is it you think you have there? The only thing that kept us in the war long enough to win it was the fact our military and militia we’re equipped with superior firearms to those of the Brits. The Rifled Musket’s of the colonials could accurately engage the enemy at 3x their range.
In the context of our constitution “Arms” are personal weapons and equipment, cannons would be ordnance.
