I had no idea either until I watched the series. It was a real eye opener, to say the least. Scary stuff.
What was interesting to me is the fact that Russia in their race to keep up with the technological race with the US was actually still lacking in their own advancements comparatively speaking, and thus may have been a contributing factor for this disaster. Also not to mention their Government bureaucracy that prevented vital information from being disclosed which essentially ended up being their fatal flaw.

A callous photographer might not have let them know kinda hoping the bear attacked so he could have got some really good saleable 6 o-oclock news shots

What part of this thread not being political do you not understand? We donāt go into the threads you create intentionally trying to derail then, yeah sure we might make a comment or two about the absurdity of some of the subject matter that you post at times but for the most part we show you the respect by not trying to derail them. All we are asking is to show the same respect in return. I am done with responding to your immature posts and tactics and at this point I will just keep a record of every time you do try to derail topics we are trying to discuss and present it to the moderators to make a case in hopes they will take action to correct this problem with you!
