I hope all of the cops who won’t get the vax do leave and head to places like Florida. People like @montecresto1 want to defund the police…so let them deal with the consequences of having a short staffed or completely broken police Department coupled with a local legal system that lets offenders out the same day they are caught. Florida will be able to pick and choose from a lot of qualified candidates. Other states that require vaccines and don’t support the police are going to get the dregs.
That presumes that $5,000 is enough to lure people away from their homes and family.

Why would a cop want to stay employed when they are not supported? When they can’t do a thing to protect property and people against BLM and Antifa?
Law enforcement officers are paid much more in both California and New York than Florida and there’s more of them in both states and they are very supported….
