Yes you are correct. He also took certain plays that were based on certain Chinese classics and turned them into propaganda pieces. As the first two videos in the series points out, most of everything that Mao promoted was based on a lie. Such as their claim they marched on to fight the Japanese during Sino wars. The other point was how communism was forced on the people and not the people embracing its ideology, this last part needs to be emphasised in present day terms.
On the Water Margin, I have only glanced at it a while back, but I am going to look at your link more intently.
I first read. Pearl Buckās translation pt1 and pt2 āAll Men are Brothersā. Very good Writing, But later I read the āWater Marginā translation, by J. H. Jackson, edited by Fang Lo-Tien.Itās much more complete, including the explanation of the government censoring which changes the real, sublime ending. Both are necessary --Itās like reading two versions of The Lord of the Rings, one flowery and the other more hardcore and deeper, but rougher reading.
That Mao usurped it is similar to how the Soviets usurped the legends of Spartacus totally manipulating the story.

The despicable Chinese governmentās decision to prohibit travel from Wuhan to other Chinese cities was intentional. Their decision to allow free travel to other countries from Wuhan was intentional. What is to keep anyone with an ounce of common sense from suspecting that the release of the virus to the world was intentional? They kept the knowledge of the rapid spread of the virus secret for weeks. Theyāve obviously lied about the number of cases and deaths in China.
The W.H.O. is kissing Chinaās ass in praising their ātransparencyā. Screw the W.H.O. !!!

Well I originally responded to you in the 50ās thread and reposted it here by copying pasting my previous comment, as I didnāt bother to edit it!.
Those points are pretty obvious, but what I am eluding to is that they intentionally engineered this virus and covertly intentionally released it to the public. (12 Monkeys)
I am with you as far as not trusting the CCP and my disdain for them is quite healthy by most measures, as I have nothing but contempt for them. Economic tools is the other thing we have to make them feel pain. I also hope that we donāt open up travel from China to the US again. Ever!

We also need to change sources for or start making our own drugs and protective gear. Iām all for NOT buying a damn thing from China. Iād rather pay the higher cost to have it made somewhere else.

The good news is that process has already started. I canāt for the life of me understand how this was allowed to get like this in the first place. I know how it happened, but this is an egregious oversight by our Government to not see this coming.

I include ALL drugs currently made in Chinaā¦not just COVID-19. Iām really not aware of how many or what kinds of drugs are made there. I suspect the list is long.
Like I said, Iām all for NOT buying a damn thing from China.

That is pretty much what I believe in too, the advocacy that if you buy anything āmade in Chinaā you are in fact financing the PLA and the only way to make them hurt is to simply stop buying Chinese made products. This is a long road, marked by ideologues and consumers with their Walmart addictions, that has to be driven on if we are to ever have any semblance of sovereignty and independence again. Its why I voted for Trump, he is the only one who had the cajones to take on the Dragon.

Honestly, if that fell as a consequence of consumer sentiment against China? I would not be unhappy. I hate how that company put so many small companies out of business.
