I would recommend high dose curcumin, probably around 750mg a day with extracts of black pepper to aid absorption, grape seed extract OPC and high dose vitamin D, perhaps about 4000mg daily. Vitamin D deficiency is attributed to many things. There are plenty of correlations, such as the further north you go, the more incidences of MS. Draw your own conclusions. Did you know vitamin D is not actually a vitamin, but a hormone?
I don’t know how much truth there is to this, but there you go. All the above mentioned work wonders in reducing inflammation, which is really what it is all about.
How anyone can review this and the various other multitude of issues which have been raised and still have a definitive " I trust that this happened" is beyond me. Genuine question for the people who believe, how do you deal with the issues raised and still maintain your position ?
Eat loads of garlic, preferably raw. Give blood. Help someone like me too - I needed a transfusion when I had my first baby. Shame you can’t stipulate where it goes, lol.
Focus on your liver. Eat loads of vegetables, especially kale. Get out of breath, sleep well…
The healthiest I’ve felt in years was when I was doing kale/frozen blueberry smoothies by the gallon each day. I’d have 4 to 6 eggs for breakfast, then make a gallon pitcher of smoothie. sip it from about 10 AM to 2 PM, make another gallon, sip it from 3 PM to 6 PM, then go to bed around 10 PM…get up around 6 AM and start all over.
I was losing about a pound a week
I’m just about to get back into that regimen.
…right now, I’m primed to go to Ed’s Public Safety and purchase a new 9mm Glock.
Sideline? Are you kidding? In the Rabbit Hole? Every other post is a sideline!
I haven’t done any homemade kale chips, though I have bought a bag or two of kale chips. They’re good for snacking but not for smoothies.
I used to buy Baker Farms triple washed, Georgia grown kale in 16 oz cellophane bags. Mostly, I used stems and all in my smoothies because I have a sharp bladed blender that makes everything small. I did try a couple of times stripping the leaves off the stems and throwing the stems out, but it seemed to take a lot of time…even though the smoothies tasted better.
However, I think I read somewhere that the beneficial components in kale are in both stems and leaves and that both need to be pulverized before ingesting or they will pass through without your absorbing all the good stuff. So, I went back to using the stems and all.
Sometimes I will get a wild hair and just strip the leaves off and eat them raw with smoked oysters, saltines and a touch of ■■■■■ brown mustard.
(Mustard has zero calories, don’t cha know…)
Sometimes I will steam some kale with wild caught salmon, squeeze a fresh lime on it and chow down.
Hey, I do coconut oil by itself…sometimes eat it with a spoon. I also love to eat raw shredded coconut, coconut macaroons, Almond Joy, Mounds…just about anything with coconut in it.
So a funny story, er but not so funny. My son has always been into healthy eating. Still is. But on this particular adventure he decided to get a juicer.
He juiced broccoli. Just broccoli. And drank it.
Four hours later we were in the Emergency Room. I was saying let it get through your system and you’ll be fine. Him saying no. I need to go.
So, we brave the illegals in mass, the seriously sick, coughing, disease, etc.
Only to be told to go home and let it work its way out of his system.
Final bill? 7K deductible and 3K in doctor fees not “associated/independent contractors” of the hospital.
Bottom line? Foods, vitamins, supplements can be dangerous in excess if you don’t know what you are doing with them.
If you are a healthy person eating a good and well rounded diet full of vitamins and minerals, you should have no need for supplements.
There is balance. It always comes back to balance. Mind, body and spirit. None can sustain without the other.
Shazaam! I hate you had to go through that. Everything is overpriced at the hospital. I just got a summary of the charges for my recent stay from June 30 through July 9…$80,225.13
Speaking of concentrated vegetables and juices, I read of the use of asparagus slush used in combating cancer. It seems that flooding the body with asparagus had a beneficial effect.
I am growing some in my yard (ugg they are hurricane torpedos) and I HATE palm trees.
However…
The milk is supposed to be very, very good for you. I am honestly too lazy to find the article, but I did a bit of research on it awhile back. Maybe Medicine Hunter? But if I recall it is close to blood serum. Drinking it is very healthy and there are quite a few benefits to it.
Since I can grow it on my own, I will do that over store bought. Which I AM doing in spite of my loathing of palm trees.
It is a myth that arteries get “blocked” by deposits. It is inflammation of the arterial walls and the cause is the same as inflammation elsewhere. Muscles do not constrict blood flow! It would be pretty dumb for the body to restrict blood flow just when it needs it most i.e. when exercising and the muscles are pumped up. Anyhow, blood pressure is measured whilst relaxed. Readings can vary greatly even during the same space of time, but they should all be within the normal range.
Why is healthcare so expensive in the US? My husband had a skiing accident where he sustained an ACJ injury. He had x rays, had his shoulder and arm all strapped up and a bag full of drugs all for €250 which we just claimed back on the travel insurance. The annual insurance only costs about £80 for 4 of us and that includes winter sports.
