This phenomenon of “honor killing” is well-known in Germany where Turks have been living among them for decades.
A disturbing case happened when a father used a very young son (under 10) as the killer. The father told the boy to shoot his sister in the head while she sat and waited for a bus. I lost interest in figuring out who got prosecuted and who didn’t.
