Retribution Has Begun: Iran attacks US bases in Iraq

Yeah but they do have a close relationship with Iran based on its history and similar commonalities in culture dating back many years!

There is no way that we pull out. That’s not even going to be an option.

Yup. Scorched Earth. It is about time.

These asshole wannabes need to experience a fraction of what the US can reign down upon them.

It will almost certainly blow up in their faces. Most Iraqis have no love for the Iranian regime.

Iran was directly or indirectly responsible for most of the Iraqis who have died in insurgent attacks. That’s why they were celebrating Solemani’s death.

Technically speaking, Iraq is still a occupied country and the proverbial US beotch! They will do what we tell them to do! Watch and wait for it!

Very easy to stumble into a war, VERY difficult to climb out. Iran is three times the size of Iraq and they are MUCH more hardened than Iraq, with a far bigger population.

It’s sad but generally it takes no more than a generation to forget the horror of war.

We haven’t made a significant strike on Iran since “The Tanker War” and we limited almost all of our responses to the Iranian Navy.

They are about to see what war looks like from their bedroom, office, living room windows, and windshields.

Not really, the occupation formally ended about a decade ago or more.

Without this attack I think there was a good chance of Trump withdrawing all but a small force to provide logistical and air support.

That ended when the first missile was launched.

You haven’t see shit… I’ve witnessed the down fall of a city. An American city, I been around more cultures you will ever see. Get out your bubble and visit a city

BS, you’ve never been out of your home town.

This could be how Trump loses 2020. He campaigned on stopping the stupid wasteful interventionist policies of his predecessors but if he oversees the official expansion of war with Iran (something the neocons have wanted since before 9/11) he’ll lose support. They won’t vote Democrat…they will stay home.

We still have about 5000 troops there now, regardless of the last SOFA expiry.

Big if true…

The world came to me… more of the world you ever see…

Not likely. Nothing pulls the country together like an attack by a foreign power.

Yes he did didn’t he…

Just another broken promise.

Plus about another 4,000 already en route, some of them arriving today.

Just stop man, you’re just making a fool of yourself.

Cool story little man
