In former East Germany, citizens were caged in.
The communist country was nothing but a giant prison.
Nonetheless, after the citizens finally reach the retirement age, the dirty government let them migrate to free Western Germany.
Moral of the story: Senior citizens are a burden for crooked government. (They don’t pay taxes, they are no longer productive and require welfare, etc.)
It will do anything to get rid of senior citizens.
