Even though it’s not politically correct yet to voice doubt about the whole climate hoax I think most of these people are smart enough to know they’ve been sold a bill of goods.
At best it’s an unproven theory that cannot be proven.
Roughly 45% of Congresscritters are lawyers … IIRC … so sadly “litigate” may be culturally more accurate than “mitigate”.
Who cares what happens (“mitigate”) just so long as we can affix blame to someone who isn’t us (“litigate”).
Which, given that legislatures are a natural hangout for useless people makes sense.

In the past I’ve joked about engorging on such fare on a special trip to NYC to ride up and down elevators with hapless victims.
But though I’m large there’s always a chance of reprisal …
