Or you can simply spot a Master Antagoniser and take a step back.

Thanks for posting BTW, I was blocked there for a while.

I hear you Ex :+1: Antagoniser is not the word that came to my mind after Master but …
I think my teeth are long enough to know when we are fooling around and when we are not.

Yes sorry, I forgot about the 3 post rule.

Yep, I can’t find the written quote from Halfrauds but a funny story.
My son’s 1990’s classic fiesta was wearing the front tyre on the inside and although I have my own tracking laser tool, I couldnt do it quickly so sent it into Halfords for a check.
They told him it had a worn drop link which needed replacing, tracking reset and theyprinted him an official quote with a drop link part number with the price and seperate tracking fee.

Later that day I went in to see the workshop manager and asked him to show me the drop link which had worn out.
Embarrisingly for him he couldn’t show me because of course this car doesn’t have drop links.

I fixed the car myself replacing the ball joint and took it into Halfords to have it tracked for free Apparently they fired the mechanic who lied about the part needed (unlikely)

A couple of cheeky short scalps off the lines.

The bottom red line is a monthly close from 2008 the top white line the yearly low from 2006.

If only all these touches were this clear and responsive

Waa… :flushed: that is entirely in keeping with my own experiences, which began with a company car I had 40 years ago. I noticed a rubbing noise from the front right wheel after a few miles running. So I asked for it to be investigated at a routine service. The shirt told me they had sorted it, and I asked what was the problem … so they dragged a hapless mechanic out from the back who was armed with a piece of paper on which was written numbers for disk run-out and some other bollocks.

By the time I got home the wheel was rubbing again, and I popped out the hub-cover and took out the outer tapered wheel bearing … which was showing signs of breaking-up. That took me all of 5 minutes. So on Monday I was back in the dealers asking for new front wheel bearings…

Shirt - “has it had a test drive?”
Me - “No. …and when you’ve finished driving it up and down the road I want new right hand front wheel bearings and an inspection and fit as necessary on the left front wheel bearing.”

On a different occasion the same wazzocks set the ignition timing aligned to an engine lifting lug instead of the mark on the engine casing which had been put there for just that purpose.

I only use the trade now if I need to keep up the warrantee or something.

This guy carries a lot of charisma and achievement, and not entirely full of praise for ‘the establishment’. I found his ‘chats’ quite informative.

No your wrong, I have been a victim of flash crashes! With the CHEF, YEN (although that wasn’t a flash crash just when the YEN was going to negative rates and I had no stop loss) and the latest was the GBP which BTW I hate the most out of all currencies! In fact I lost 59,000 in one trade in a matter of minutes! Luckily for me because I trade multiple accounts and in large lots I was able to recover but it took nearly a year to regain what I lost.

Are we talking commercial trading or consumer trader? FX markets only or across the board? If we are talking about strictly consumer FX instruments then I could see that being the case, but in commercial trading like what I am in is drawn from multiple baskets of instruments that make up a pool, FX, Commodities, debt, municipal bonds, corporate bonds and treasury notes is all I trade with. FX this year so far for trading has been over the 90 percentile in terms of profitability! I only trade about 5 positions in a given year and will hold a position until price has reached its demand or supply zone. So I Guess you have to be a little more specific in terms of what is actually being traded to make sense of your earlier statement in terms of success rate.

Hey Stu just for the record I was just messing with you and I just wanted you to mess with me back! What you call it? Taking the piss? I really meant nothing by it! When I start making fun of your car you should know I am just joking with you! I know we had a bit of a squabble some time ago, but I still consider you a good mate and never ever held anything personal against you for it!

Ok? Hope we are cool you big bald fuck! Ha!

No seriously! We can have a pint sometime because I know that’s the type of person you are! Water under the bridge bro! I still love ya!

You’re showing off now Rob. I use string lines to match my Renault !

I read some really negative crap about this guy a while ago, it wasn’t the usual disgruntled village idiot upset, I will have a dig later and see if I can find. I believe he is a real course selling whore which of course is just what you need to do when you are sick of earning 10’s of millions.

Yes with seasonal this is his busiest time of the year!

Hey! Look what Jerome did for the price of gold!

Ex I couldn’t find the piece I was looking for but came across this. I think the comments section is interesting and will read like something you have read time and time again.

Hope he did something for you .

No! …but I expect Magog is jumping, I don’t do Gold … only watch the price.

That Anton stuff is about right I reckon. I watched a number of the Youtube videos just to pick up on his approach or ‘Karma’. Beyond that I am a firm believer in not paying for anything because a) I have seen some of the fishermen, and b) you have to use your own brains.

There is no magic in trading … that is about the most useful lesson you can learn, and there you just had it for free!

I pull ~12% out of my stock funds annually and I still have more than I started with. Now that I am old ( ) I am income focused rather than growth, bit I still have a small ‘adventure fund’, in IG actually… :+1:
