Kamala Harris and the Jussie Smollett Hate Hoax

And if it is true, I wonder why it is, examples.

from Eric Holder, Hate Crimes and Double Standards | Frontpage Mag

There are plenty of recent cases of race-based violence that Holder can choose from. A sampling:

In Brooklyn a few weeks ago, ten black people surrounded a car, then beat the two white occupants, a husband and wife. They even called them racial names, as in “Get those crackers” and “get that white whore.” All in front of witnesses in the middle of the day.

The Brooklyn DA says he will not file hate crime charges.

In New Haven, a few days before that, 500 black people attending a party called “An All Black Affair,” destroyed property and rioted in a downtown restaurant. Then outside. Then in two more restaurants. Not only are there no hate crime charges, New Haven police did not arrest anyone for anything during these rampages.

Race was the central organizing feature of the party – and the riot.

A few days before that in St. Paul, a car full of black people robbed and assaulted a white woman. They called her a “white bitch” while holding her down so one of the assailants could urinate on her.

Either way, it is a target rich environment for a Justice Department that so far, seems oddly unwilling to follow federal hate crime laws – if that is, the victims are white.

And the perpetrators are black.

So white people and black people are fundamentally different you say? Interesting.

But really, you have no facts to back up your assertion. You may have facts that there are more reports of hate crimes committed by white people. But maybe… just maybe… white people dont report the “hate crimes” perpetrated upon them.

Or they do and Eric Holder and people like him didn’t think they mattered because whites weren’t historically oppressed, like he says in the video.

https://ucr.fbi.gov/hate-crime/2017/topic-pages/offenders

“In 2017, race was reported for 6,370 known hate crime offenders. Of these offenders:

  • 50.7 percent were White.

  • 21.3 percent were Black or African American.

  • 7.5 percent were groups made up of individuals of various races (group of multiple races).

  • 0.8 percent (49 offenders) were American Indian or Alaska Native.

  • 0.7 percent (42 offenders) were Asian.

  • 3 offenders were Native Hawaiian or Other Pacific Islander.

  • 19.1 percent were unknown.”

A hate crime is a hate crime… it doesn’t matter who commits it.

Like I said… “reported”.

Although… your stats do tell a funny story. If true, Blacks in disproportionately high numbers perform hate crimes.

Ok what is your point?

How many go unreported? And once you get that number, what races commits those unreported hate crimes?

You can give your opinion but I brought facts. They aren’t the same.

Happen to know what percentage of the country is white? So they’re under and not over-represented aren’t they? Meanwhile, black people are over-represented in the category. So that in turn would mean, black people are more likely to commit a hate crime than whites.

Didn’t watch the Holder video did you?

Can you express those numbers on a per capita basis?

70%~ White

13%~ AA

So those numbers definitely show that AA are over represented in hate crimes… however I will admit this data alone does tell the whole story.

What presincts are reporting and where are they located? I would expect an area with more black people to have more hate crimes towards white people. Vice versa for areas that are predominantly white.

The report mentioned that 1000 more precincts started sending data in 2017. What percentage of all precincts is that?

Same FBI with political agenda?

Here, I’ll do it for you…

https://www.census.gov/quickfacts/fact/table/US/PST045217

Population: 325,719,178

White 76.6% 294,500,890
Black 13.4% 43,646,369

From your numbers…
Hate Crimes Reported: 6370

White 50.7% 3230
Black 21.3% 1357

Hate Crimes per capita by race:

White 3230/294500890 = 1.0969 x 10E-5
Black 1367/43646369 = 3.1503 x 10E-5

Therefore blacks are over 3 times more likely to commit hate crimes.

I don’t think that post that @Pragmatic made turned out the way he thought it would. Who knew that the highly educated would have such trouble with numbers!

Your math doesn’t work…

What is 294 + 43? Is it over or under 325?

Any way you slice it only one of the two commits hate crimes at a higher percentage than their percentage of the population and it isn’t white people.

Yes that is absolutely correct.

There were 8000 hate crimes reported to the FBI in 2017 by agencies using UCR or NIBRS. The data comes from the initial incident report from the agency. It does not reflect hoax reports, cases that are dropped for various reasons, or cases that go to trial and the suspect is found not guilty or acquitted. The agencies do not send follow up reports to the FBI regarding these cases.

And I know this because I ran the UCR unit of a large Florida Sheriff’s Office for 3 years.

You still don’t seem to understand the difference between a hate crime and a reported hate crime.
