You don’t see multiple Democrat Presidential candidates signing on to the theory of white privilege? Some even apologize for being white.
Racist policies like reparations are enthusiastically embraced by purveyors of identity politics. The major justification for open borders is that white imperialist policies have destroyed the Latin American countries producing the flood of illegal immigrants.
The rabid hatred of the "other " inherent in identity politics requires a target. In our woke culture it’s the white male who is responsible for all misery in the world. As Barack Obama dutifully copied from Reverend Wright in his book “white greed builds a world in need.”

Which Hollywood productions are anti-Trump? I am an avid movie goes and have not seen that.
As for Nazis and white supremacy, these have always been fodder for entertainment. I honestly think you are seeing something that is not there.
Charlies Angels bombed because it wax a crap movie. There are far more movies that fail than make the billions we see from the likes of the Marvel franchise. Elizabeth Banks is spouting shit just to try and explain away a crap movie with crap direction and a crap story.
Now where I think we might be able to agree is this ridiculous notion that an actor cannot portray a character who is not reflective of them in real life. This is a popular opinion with criticisms if a straight actor plays a gay character. Bryan Cranston was criticized for his role as a paraplegic. I agree with what he said about as an actor his job is to play roles that are nothing like him.
I can say with a high level of confidence from my own personal experiences the more white people experience diversity the more white people dislike diversity there is only a small percentage of us that enjoy being around non-whites and the when the much larger percentage of whites that do not enjoy being around no white experience the racism that whites now experience and the higher rates of crime and they find themselves to be disproportionately targeted with crime they dislike diversity even more and when we see other racial groups being treated with children’s gloves special jobs for non whites easier to get business loans lower standard grades to get accepted into educational courses how long do you think it’ll last for? And where do you think it will end up?
Also non-whites forever complain about how hard is being a ethnic minority (with special rights) what makes you think we want to be a minority?
I wish to be left to my own devices. Not at all a big request. I leave someone alone, they leave me alone. Easy.

I haven’t heard anybody justify “open borders” (certainly no one with any abilities) based on America’s imperialism in Latin America. But beginning with the banana wars and right on through the CIA’s covert regime change of half a dozen LA countries, replacing democratically elected governments with right wing dictatorships, there’s been plenty interference that has contributed to northern flight over the decades.
Almost all the recent productions since 2017 where some scripted line is inserted where a reference is made. Its not limited to movies either, its in TV shows, and independent shows that are produced by HBO, NetFlix, and Starz. Its also not just about anti Trump references, its the cultural social issues that are being forced into the story lines that make them appeared contrived and less authentic. BTW, I too am an avid movie enthusiast and actively write reviews and I am currently involved in running a media company here in Asia.
That is pretty presumptuous on your part to assume what it is you think I am seeing, and mind you I am not the only one who has pointed out certain things such as the Watchmen Television series, Ghost Busters, and the recent Terminator movie, which all had some sort of hyper feminist angle to them. While the stereotypes and Nazi references have been in some sort of plot theme well before Trump was elected, in recent productions it is more prevalent and more widely used due to MSM’s recent narratives and they use the same buzzwords for heightened effect to re-enforce a narrative, and no its not about fodder, its intentional and not coincidental. “Watchman” is clearly an example of this!
That part we can agree but her statement regarding her defending the movie was indicative how most of Hollywood fake activists thinks and the SJW causes they try desperately to insert into their story lines is very apparent.

BTW Captain Marvel was the same shit of trying to force this narrative of feminist hyped shit that men should be less powerful than women BS and was riding on the metoo movement nonsense. It was crap movie too, but that didn’t bombed as much as Charlies Angels, even though the reviews did it no justice.
I am not sure where it is you are seeing that reference from me that we would agree on. When I see a production its either organic or it is not, and the social and political issues especially if the story is takes place in current times the contrived inserted lines that hit on the buzz words is distracting and is a giant turn off. Its a big reason why I have turned to more independent productions than the usual clap trap we see from the usual suspects, especially now that the Chinese are taking over Hollywood as everything they touch turns to shit! They did the same thing to the Hong Kong Movie industry and ruined what many movie enthusiasts considered their own genre of film making.
Again, you are using a term, imperialism, you don’t understand.

Of course cultural norms applicable to the time of the movie will be present. Look at movies of 50 years ago and they represent the cultural norms of the day. Some movies definitely try to push an agenda and those that do I do not care to watch.
I suppose as with all things, we view through a different prism.
It’s been discussed of starting a blog here strictly for movie reviews, which is still in the works. There is a thread here called “Indy Shorts” which is dedicated to the short film and animation genre. I don’t necessarily give reviews there, but I do watch everyone that is posted there as being ones I think are good. You might find that interesting!

Actually, not as much as you say. the whole ‘unless you’re woke, you’re a Nazi’ is a relatively new wrinkle. It appears to have started in the Afro-Centric world of hip hop, but quickly took hold- like an infection, in universities. This trend was non existent prior to 2000 - at least vis a vis the popular zeitgeist in youth.
The made up boogeyman of “White supremacist” (anyone not ‘woke’ enough to have self loathing for being White) only morphed int neo Nazi in the last decade or so- encouraged by a President who saw things that way himself. Hollywood used to focus primarily on making proles feel better about thier lot through class warfare imagery/themes - the old Romans always had British accents, and the peasants were always swarthy men with Brooklyn accents (Al Jaffe).
Now class has been supplanted by race - and only one race can be openly hated with accolades for doing so… and we all know which race that is.
