A poll worker, apparently strong out on too much Obamajuice got himself worked into a lather over a woman's sweatshit. Why? It said MIT.
That's M.I.T., as in the Massachusetts Institute of Technology, somewhat different than MITT as in Mr. Romney.
How do you know when your elections workers are on high alert? When they flinch at the Massachusetts Institute of Technology.
According to Alton Dillard, a spokesman for the Denver Clerk and Recorder’s office, a veteran poll worker waved a distress flag and called for a supervisor when she spotted a young woman in the lobby of the Denver Elections Division wearing what she believed was a sweatshirt violating the state’s electioneering law.
One letter short of an electioneering violation.
The garment bore the letters “MIT.”
The state’s electioneering law forbids anyone from attempting to express support for or against a candidate or issue within 100 feet of a polling place. That inludes signs, buttons and yes, T-shirts and other clothing.

All I can say is good thing the woman didn't end up in a federal prison without the sweatshirt. But you have to wonder about a party that has an illegal alien address their convention and support that person voting while having a problem with a woman wearing a sweatshirt for one of the oldest and most prestigious universities in the country.
I can hear Eric Holder justifying that to congress even now.

I worked at a polling place for the 08 Election. we had a ton of people wearing Obama on their shirt.
it actually said Obama or had his picture.
we never complained about any that had college initials on them.
