The body of Boston Marathon bombing suspect Tamerlan Tsarnaev's was released at 5:30 p.m. Thursday by the Massachusetts Office of the Chief Medical Examiner to the funeral service retained by Tsarnaev's family, spokesman Terrel Harris said.
The medical examiner's office does not make public the name of the family member who claimed the body or the funeral home that is handling the remains, he said. Tsarnaev's widow, Katherine Russell, issued a statement earlier this week saying she would relinquish her rights to his remains to his family.
First off before somebody comes and complains about the title. I'm not a news organization and I'm not a PC chump who has to be PC. I'm able to use common sense and he is a terrorist.
If I was his wife I wouldn't want to claim the body either. I know the dad said he would come and pick up the body.
Reading some of the comments I kinda agree to dump the body in the ocean with bin laden that way they can't set up a shrine for this scum like they were with Osama

The news organization you quoted had a good title: "Remains of Boston bombing suspect claimed"
Last I checked you are innocent until proven guilty.

Good point. Although we are 99.44% sure this guy is/was a criminal, we have a process. Though prosecutors usually act as if the opposite was true.

And you are correct ... we have a process ... let's see how many of the slugs that they pulled out of him match cops' weapons and not the local gangbangers...
And don't forget, he was identified by one of the surviving runners.
