Obama held his first press conference since June today... here's a link to a live thead that followed his remarks. Sounds like it was basically another campaign speech.

No presidential briefing today. Guess all's right with the world. Wonder if he'll be able to convince people who still don't have power & heat that FEMA is their friend? Also wonder if he'll make it to Long Island for his photo op? Understand people are still suffering pretty bad in that area.

It it quality or quantity that matters?

You're defending a president who had to be dragged off a golf course to greenlight the Bin Laden killing before the window closed. You don't have either one on your side.

    Obama Embarks on Asia Trip
    November 17, 2012, 10:03 am

President Obama this morning departed the White House for Bangkok, Thailand, the first stop on a five-day trip to Asia.

Obama will make stops in Burma and Cambodia before returning to Washington Wednesday morning.

    ***

Let's see... thousands of Americans have lost their jobs since Obama's re-election... people in NY are still trying to get heat for their homes... testimonies about the fiasco that was Bengahzi are underway... and Barack jets off to the other side of the world. The one that's NOT exploding with problems right now.

Michelle's not going. No doubt ValJar is going.

Not to worry, Mr. President. Both your lovely wife and your crumbling nation will be awaiting your return.

Have a safe trip. Can't imagine how we'd manage without you...
